Submitted by Jimmy Oliphant

This is a record of burials of Communicants of St Joseph's Catholic Church, Marshall, Texas.  This is a separate list from the list of known graves.

This is a list compiled from the original cemetery records of the church.  There are several hundred names listed here that have no markers.  Some of these are listed as "Colored" and "Mexican" and some appear to be indigents.  Several died at the T & P Railroad Hospital.  Some were buried in other Marshall cemeteries and some w ere buried in other cities or towns.  Most of these are assumed to be Catholic, but some are incidated as non-Catholic.

The information given, for the most part, is the death date or burial date and age.  Sometimes there is additional information such as birth date, parents, etc.  Some of the information is personal information.
