Harold Ely Moody of Sherman and
Miss Erie Willis Austin of Marshall
Are Married.

Marsahll, Tex, Dec 17 - Harold Ely Moody of Sherman and Miss Erie Willis Austin of this city were married here last night at the First
Methodist Church, at 8:30 o'clock.

It was one of the prettiest weddings that has occured in Marshall for a number of years, and there never has been a wedding here at which so many out-of-town people were in attendance.

Promptly at the hour named Mrs Edwin Richardson sand "Heaven Hath Shed a Tear." A few minutes later the choir sang the bridal chorus from "Lohengrin," and the bridal party entered, preceded by little Misses Marguerite Dale of Dallas and Mamie Whaley of this city, who advanced and held the floral gates open on either side as the bridal party passed to the altar. They were closely followed by little Miss Laura Belle DeVogoelee of Sherman, bearing a large bunch of flowers.

The bridal party wended its way up the aisle of the church to the altar where a few minutes later Rev. J B K Spain made Mr Moody and Miss Austin man and wife.

The church was decorated with sea moss and palms, and the birdal couple stood under an arch of green vine, from which three white bells were suspended.

After the ceremony, the bridal party held a reception at the residence of the bride's mother, Mrs Erie Austin, after which they left on the
early morning train for St Louis.

Harold Ely Moody is the son of Mr and Mrs Thomas A Moody of Sherman, in which city he was born.

Miss Erie Austin is the youngest daughter of Mrs Erie Austin of this city, and was born and raised in this city.

The following ladies and gentlemen composed the bridal party: Miss Mary Moody, Sherman, maid of honor; bridesmaids, Miss Hattie Rogers of Shreveport, Miss Casey McCollough of Longview, Miss Rose Youree of Shreveport, Miss Emily Kretz of Fort Worth, Miss Maydee Leachman of Dallas, Miss Mamie Copeland, Cliff Elgin, Mary Steele Blocker of this city; Charles Moody, best man, Sherman; groomsmen, Tom Hopson of Sherman, Will Ely of Sherman, Edward Brownlee of Bonham and James Ginocchio, Fred Reynolds, Lee Hawley, Will Pierce and Vernon McCollough of this city; ushers, Dan Copeland, Harry Eccleston, W Y Allen and
Terrell Lively.

The following out-of-town people were present: Mr and Mrs S L Dale, Dallas; Mr and Mrs De Vogelee, Sherman; Mr and Mrs T A Moody, parents of the groom, Sherman; Mr and Mrs Henry Youree, Dr and Mrs J P Scott, and Mr and Mrs Pete Youree of Shreveport; James A Dorsey of Dallas.
