McMillan, James Edward

NAPLES - Services for James Edward McMillan, 87, of DeKalb, will be 11 a.m. 
Monday, June 25, 2007, at New Hope Baptist Church in DeKalb, with the Rev. 
Sam Reeves and Robby Bates officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery 
in DeKalb. Arrangements are by Harrison Funeral Home. Mr. McMillan died June 
22, 2007, at his residence.

Born September 25, 1919, in Dalby Springs, he was a U.S. Army Air Corps 
veteran of World War II, a rancher, retired school bus driver, millwright, 
heavy equipment mechanic and member of New Hope Baptist Church. Survivors 
include his wife, Mildred Hawkins McMillan; daughter, Mary Jo Sheridan; sons, 
Jim and Bobby McMillan; and sisters, Lois Pirkey and Ruthel Howell.
