Barlow, Mable NASH -- Mable Barlow, 93, of Maud, died Wednesday, March 9, 2005 in a Longview hospital. Mrs. Barlow was born March 23, 1911, in Bowie County, where she resided all her life. She was a homemaker and worked at both Smith's Grocery in Maud and Lone Star Ammunition Plant. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Maud. Her husband, Richard Barlow; eight brothers; one great grandchild; and her parents precede her in death. She is survived by three daughters and one son-in-law, Delores Griffith of Maud, Marcile Stafford of Longview, and Louise and Guy Hughes of Longview; two sons and daughters-in-law, Eugene and Christine Barlow of Tyler, and Jerry and Dana Barlow of Flint; one special niece, Joyce Jenkins Scogin of Benton, La.; 15 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren, and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2p.m. Saturday, at First Baptist church in Maud, with the Rev. Tim Brown officiating. Burial will be at Center Ridge Cemetery in Maud, under the direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.
