Obituary for Mary Ruth Goodson
Born  February 14, 1927  Died July 18, 2004

Mary Ruth Goodson 77,of Redwater, Texas died Sunday July 18,2004 at her home.
Mrs. Goodson was born February 14,1927 in Texarkana, Texas.   She was a retired
diagnostician for Atlanta and Queen City, Texas School Districts and a member of
Redwater United Methodist Church.    She was preceaded in death by her husband,
Warren Goodson.   Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Debbie
Sharp of Texarkana; one grandson, Kyle Sharp of Texarkana; four nephews, Steele 
Cooley of Cameron, Texas; Greg Cooley of Fort Worth, Texas; Tommy Smith of Liberty, 
Texas; and Stan Nettles of Linden, Texas; two nieces, Susan Naples and Nancy Ann 
Klenk of Texarkana; one special great-niece, Courtney Riggs of Texarkana; and a 
number of other relatives.   Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in 
Redwater Cemetery with the Rev. Ronnie Pipes officiating, under direction of 
Chapelwood Funeral Home.   Visitation will be 6-7:30 p.m. today at the funeral
