This is John Evander (Van) McMillan and Sarah Catherine Bush family.

 
Van is the brother of William Monroe who were Orphans at age 2 & 6.
They have several children in the 1908 New Hope School Picture,
Ona, Martha, Bessie.
From William Monroe's family are (Mom)Cleoda and Carrie.
The Wooten's are relatives also.

She passed away in her home in New Hope,
early Thursday Morning April 6 after a long Illness.
She was survived by one son J.W. Two daughters,
Mattie Johnson & Ona Smith.
Also by 40 grandchildren,
90 ggrandchildren and three gggrandchildren.
In her lap is Bessie Van McMillan,
Ila Bea's Mother, 12/29/1895-7/4/1919
Uncle Van raised Ila B. when her mother died.
Martha Jane (Mattie) 4/12/1892-3/1/1972

Ona Jewel (last child) was not born when this was made.
7/17/1898-7/21/1988
