Joe Partridge Dead

Joe Partridge of Greenville, but formerly of the Daugherty community in this county, died at the home of his brother, Jim Partridge, in Emory Monday morning about 7 o’clock, after a three days illness with black Jaundice. The deceased was about twenty-six years old and single, being survived by one brother and one sister. His remains were buried Tuesday in the Coats graveyard north of Emory. Mr. Partridge was one of our soldier boys, but did not go across. The Leader joins with friends in offering sympathy to the bereaved.
